Grady G. Hart, Jr. was admitted to the South Carolina Bar on November 13, 1995 and has practiced exclusively in the Family Court. Mr. Hart attended Summerville High School, in Summerville, South Carolina and graduated in 1986; attended the University of South Carolina and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1990; and attend Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi and received a Juris Doctor in 1995. 
Mr. Hart served as a page in the South Carolina Senate for The Honorable Warren K. Giese; was previously employed at the Richland County Solicitor’s Office under Solicitors James C. Anders, Esquire and Richard Harpootlian, Esquire as a staff member prior to attending law school; was previously employed with Carol Sanders, PA; and has been a partner with Hart & Sercer LLC, since 2004. 
Mr. Hart resided in Richland County for many years and has resided in Lexington County for the past 22 years. 
Mr. Hart served on the on the Family Court Task Force for the State of South Carolina from February 26, 2003 to January 2006 and was the Chairman of the Scheduling Subcommittee and Co-Chairman of the Department of Social Services Subcommittee. Was appointed by the Past-President of the Richland County Bar Association, to the 2006 Advisory Committee as the Family Court liaison. Has been appointed by the Past-Presidents of the Lexington County Bar as family court liaison and has served since 2020. Mr. Hart volunteered to serve on a Lexington Conty Bar Subcommittee to research and produce a report to the State Legislature to support the need for increasing the number of Family Court Judges serving the 11th Judicial Circuit (Lexington, Saluda, and McCormic Counties). Mr. Hart currently serves on the Lexington County Family Court Bench / Bar Committee. 

Ove the years, Mr. Hart has volunteered to assist the South Carolina Bar with many community related programs, the South Carolina Bar Referral Service advertising, and other bar related advertising and functions.
